To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under 'Reset this PC', click 'Get started' and follow the instructions. Ensure you back up your data beforehand.
First, ensure the battery is charged. Try a hard reset by holding the power button for about 10 seconds. If it still doesn't turn on, remove any external devices and try again.
You can update drivers via Device Manager: right-click Start, select Device Manager, right-click the device to update, and choose 'Update driver'. Alternatively, use Lenovo Vantage for automatic updates.
To maintain battery health, avoid letting it drop below 20% regularly and try to keep it in the 20%-80% charge range. Use Lenovo Vantage to access battery settings and optimize performance.
To improve performance, ensure your laptop is updated, manage startup programs, uninstall unnecessary applications, and consider upgrading RAM if possible.
Turn off the laptop and unplug it. Use a can of compressed air to remove debris from the keyboard. Gently wipe the keys with a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
Ensure the touchpad is enabled by pressing F6 or Fn + F6. Check the touchpad settings in Windows under Devices > Touchpad. Update or reinstall the touchpad driver if necessary.
Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar, select the desired network, and enter the password if required. Ensure the airplane mode is off and the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled.
Check for updates to your display drivers and install them. Adjust the refresh rate in Display Settings. If the problem persists, consider hardware issues and contact support.
Connect the second monitor via HDMI or USB-C. Press Windows + P to open the projection options and select the desired mode (Duplicate, Extend, etc.). Adjust display settings as needed.
