To perform a factory reset, turn off the laptop. Then, press the Novo button (a small button next to the power port) to access the Novo Menu. Select "System Recovery" and follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device to factory settings.
First, check the power cable and ensure it is properly connected. Try a different power outlet. If the device still doesn’t turn on, perform a power drain by removing the battery (if removable) and holding the power button for 15 seconds. Then, reconnect the battery and power up.
Power off the laptop and disconnect all cables. Remove the bottom case by unscrewing the screws. Locate the RAM slots and carefully insert the new RAM module, ensuring it clicks into place. Reattach the bottom case and power on the laptop to verify the upgrade.
Several factors could cause slowness: insufficient RAM, fragmented hard drive, or too many startup programs. Consider upgrading RAM, running disk defragmentation, and disabling unnecessary startup programs via Task Manager to improve performance.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device through the Windows Settings under Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Click "Add Bluetooth or other device," select Bluetooth, and choose your device from the list to connect.
First, ensure the touchpad is not disabled by pressing the F6 key or Fn + F6. If unresponsive, update the touchpad driver via Device Manager, or try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Restart the laptop to see if the issue is resolved.
Visit the Lenovo Support website, enter your laptop model, and navigate to the Drivers & Software section. Download and install the latest drivers for your hardware components. Alternatively, use Device Manager to update drivers directly.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power. Use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with a mixture of water and mild detergent. Gently wipe the screen in circular motions, avoiding excessive pressure. Dry with a clean microfiber cloth.
To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use, and close unnecessary applications. Use Windows Power Options to select a power-saving plan, and regularly calibrate the battery by fully charging and discharging it once a month.
If your model includes a backlit keyboard, enable it by pressing the Fn + Spacebar keys. This combination typically cycles through different brightness levels. If it doesn’t work, check your user manual to verify backlight support.
