To perform a factory reset, turn off your laptop. Press the Novo button, located on the left side near the power button, to access the Novo Menu. Select "System Recovery" and follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device to factory settings.
First, ensure that the battery is charged. Connect the laptop to a power source and check if the power indicator light is on. If the laptop still won't turn on, perform a hard reset by removing the battery and AC adapter, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect the battery and AC adapter, then attempt to power on the laptop.
Visit the official Lenovo Support website and search for your model. Download the latest BIOS update file and follow the provided instructions to update the BIOS. Ensure your laptop is connected to power and do not interrupt the update process.
To upgrade RAM, turn off your laptop and disconnect all cables. Remove the screws on the back panel to access the RAM slots. Carefully remove the existing RAM module by pushing the metal clips holding it in place. Insert the new RAM module at an angle and push down until it clicks into place. Reattach the back panel and screws.
To improve battery life, adjust power settings to a balanced or power-saving mode. Reduce screen brightness and close unnecessary applications. Regularly update your operating system and drivers to ensure optimal performance. Consider disabling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect it from any power source. Use a can of compressed air to blow out debris from between the keys. For a deeper clean, lightly dampen a microfiber cloth with isopropyl alcohol and gently wipe the keys and surrounding areas. Avoid using excessive liquid.
Connect the external monitor to your laptop using an HDMI or VGA cable. Once connected, press the Windows key + P to open the display options and choose your preferred display mode (Duplicate, Extend, or Second screen only).
Check if the touchpad is accidentally disabled by pressing the function key combination (usually Fn + F6 or F8). If the issue persists, update the touchpad drivers via Device Manager or download the latest drivers from the Lenovo Support website.
First, check if the volume is muted or too low. Test the sound with different applications. Update audio drivers using Device Manager or the Lenovo Support website. If issues continue, run the Windows Troubleshooter by navigating to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Playing Audio.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect it from the power source. Use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with distilled water or a screen cleaning solution. Gently wipe the screen in a circular motion, avoiding excessive pressure or liquid.
