To perform a factory reset, restart your laptop and press the 'OneKey Recovery' button next to the power port. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the system to its factory settings.
First, ensure the battery is charged and the power adapter is properly connected. Try a hard reset by removing the battery and the power adapter, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect the battery and power adapter, and try turning it on again.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect all cables. Remove the back panel to access the RAM slots. Insert compatible RAM modules into the slots by aligning the notches and pressing them firmly until the clips secure them. Replace the back panel and restart the laptop.
Your laptop may be running slow due to insufficient RAM, a cluttered hard drive, or malware. Consider upgrading the RAM, running disk cleanup, and scanning for viruses. Additionally, disable unnecessary startup programs to improve performance.
Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar, select the desired network from the list, and click 'Connect'. Enter the network password if prompted. Ensure the wireless switch is turned on if you have connectivity issues.
Ensure the touchpad is enabled by pressing the F6 key or the function key with the touchpad icon. If it still doesn't work, update or reinstall the touchpad driver through the Device Manager.
To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use, close unnecessary applications, and use power-saving modes. Regularly calibrate the battery by fully charging and discharging it once a month.
Visit the Lenovo support website and download the latest BIOS update for your model. Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions to complete the update. Ensure your laptop is connected to a power source during the process.
Check if the volume is muted or turned down low. Ensure the correct playback device is selected in the sound settings. Update the audio drivers through the Device Manager. If the issue persists, test with external speakers or headphones.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect all power sources. Use compressed air to blow dust out of the vents. For a thorough cleaning, open the bottom panel and gently clean the fan with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid using liquids.
