To perform a factory reset, turn off your Lenovo E10-30. Then, press the Novo button (located near the power button) and select 'System Recovery' from the Novo Menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device to factory settings.
First, ensure that the laptop is connected to a power source. If it still doesn't turn on, try removing the battery and power cable, then hold the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect the power and battery, and attempt to power on the device.
To improve battery life, reduce screen brightness, close unnecessary programs, use power saving mode, and ensure that your operating system and drivers are up to date. Regularly calibrating your battery can also help maintain its efficiency.
To upgrade the RAM, turn off the laptop and disconnect all cables. Open the back panel by removing the screws. Locate the RAM slot, remove the existing module if necessary, and insert the new RAM module. Ensure it is seated properly before reassembling the laptop.
Click on the network icon in the taskbar, select your Wi-Fi network from the list, and click 'Connect.' Enter the network password if prompted. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch on your laptop is turned on.
Visit the Lenovo support website, locate the BIOS update for your model, and download it. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Ensure your laptop is plugged into a power source during the update process.
Your laptop may be slow due to insufficient RAM, too many startup programs, or malware. Consider upgrading the RAM, disabling unnecessary startup programs, and running a malware scan. Defragmenting the hard drive can also improve performance.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect it from power. Use a can of compressed air to blow out dust and debris from the keyboard. For deeper cleaning, gently wipe the keys with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
Ensure that the laptop's vents are not blocked and that it is placed on a hard, flat surface. Use a cooling pad to help with airflow. Clean the vents with compressed air to remove dust buildup. Consider reducing the workload to prevent overheating.
Press the 'Fn' key along with the function key that has a touchpad icon (usually F6 or F8) to enable the touchpad. Alternatively, go to 'Mouse & Touchpad settings' in the Control Panel and ensure the touchpad is enabled.
