To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under 'Reset this PC', click 'Get started' and choose 'Remove everything' to reset the laptop to its factory settings.
Your laptop may be running slow due to insufficient RAM or heavy applications running. Try closing unnecessary programs, reducing startup items, or upgrading the RAM if possible.
You can update drivers by visiting the Lenovo Support website, downloading the appropriate drivers for your model, and following the installation instructions.
First, ensure the battery is charged. Try holding the power button for 10 seconds. If it still doesn’t turn on, you may need to reset the internal battery by inserting a paperclip into the reset hole on the bottom of the laptop.
To extend battery life, lower screen brightness, close unused applications, use battery saver mode, and avoid extreme temperatures.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid using excessive amounts of liquid or abrasive materials.
To enable the touchpad, go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and ensure the touchpad is turned on. You can also check the touchpad settings in the Lenovo Vantage software.
Ensure that the vents are not blocked and that the laptop is on a hard surface. You can also use a cooling pad and check for any software causing high CPU usage.
You can connect to an external monitor using the HDMI port. Use an HDMI cable to connect the laptop to the monitor, and then press Windows + P to select the display mode.
Visit the Lenovo Support website, enter your laptop's serial number, and check the warranty status under the 'Warranty & Services' section.
