To reset your Kenwood KID60B16A Dishwasher, turn off the dishwasher, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 5 minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn the dishwasher on and select the desired cycle.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the sink drain is clear and not blocked. Clean the dishwasher's filter and remove any debris.
Remove the lower dish rack and locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Twist the filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse it under running water to remove debris, then reinstall it by aligning and twisting it back into place.
Ensure the door is properly closed and latched. Check if the dishwasher is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Confirm that the water supply is turned on.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms. Check and clean the door seals. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to prevent limescale buildup.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled. Use a higher temperature wash cycle and open the door slightly after the cycle to allow steam to escape.
Check the rinse aid level and refill if necessary. Make sure you are using the correct amount of detergent. Consider using a water softener if your water is hard.
Place larger items on the sides and back of the lower rack to avoid blocking the spray arms. Load smaller items and glasses on the upper rack. Ensure all items are dishwasher safe.
Clean the filter regularly and remove food debris. Run a cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of vinegar monthly. Leave the door slightly open when not in use to allow air circulation.
Inspect the door seal for damage or debris and clean it. Check if the dishwasher is level and adjust the feet if necessary. Ensure hoses are secure and not damaged.
