To start the Husqvarna Contour 650E CTE30 Trimmer, ensure it's on a flat surface, press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible, set the choke to the start position, pull the starter handle until the engine fires, then set the choke to the run position.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter after every 10 hours of use, checking the spark plug every 25 hours, and replacing the trimmer line as needed. Inspect the trimmer for loose parts and tighten as necessary.
If the trimmer does not start, check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Make sure the air filter is clean and the choke is set correctly.
To replace the trimmer line, turn off the trimmer and disconnect the spark plug. Remove the spool, thread the new line through the holes, and wind it evenly. Replace the spool and ensure it is secure before reconnecting the spark plug.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 and mix it with high-quality 2-cycle oil at a ratio of 50:1. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Excessive vibration may be due to a damaged cutting attachment or loose parts. Inspect the cutting head for wear or damage and replace if needed. Check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight.
Sharpen the cutting blade every 25 hours of use or whenever you notice a decline in cutting efficiency. Use a sharpening stone or file, following the blade’s original angle.
It is not recommended to use the Husqvarna Contour 650E CTE30 Trimmer in wet conditions as moisture can affect engine performance and may lead to electrical faults.
Before storing the trimmer, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops. Clean the trimmer thoroughly, remove the spark plug, and store it in a cool, dry place.
To clean the air filter, remove the cover and take out the filter. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and let it air dry completely before reassembling.
