To charge the battery, connect the charger to the charging socket on the tool and plug it into a power outlet. The battery will fully charge in approximately 210 minutes.
Ensure the battery is charged and properly connected. Check for any debris blocking the cutting head and ensure the safety lock is disengaged.
To adjust the cutting head angle, press the adjusting button and tilt the cutting head to the desired position. Release the button to lock it in place.
Regularly clean the cutting head, remove any grass or debris, and check for wear on the cutting blades. Inspect the safety features and ensure the battery contacts are clean.
To replace the cutting blades, switch off the trimmer and disconnect the battery. Use a suitable tool to remove the worn blades and attach the new ones securely.
The Stihl FSA 45 is not designed for use in wet conditions. Avoid operating the trimmer in rain or on wet grass to prevent damage and ensure safety.
Clean the trimmer thoroughly, remove the battery, and store it in a cool, dry place. Ensure the battery is charged to about 30-50% before storing.
The Stihl FSA 45 offers a runtime of approximately 20 minutes on a full charge, depending on the working conditions and cutting intensity.
Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the air vents. Ensure the tool is powered off and disconnected from the charger during cleaning.
