To start a wash cycle, load your dishes into the dishwasher, add the appropriate amount of detergent, close the door firmly, select the desired wash program using the program selector knob, and press the start button.
First, check for food debris blocking the drain filter and clean it if necessary. Ensure that the drain hose is not kinked or blocked. If the problem persists, inspect the air gap or call a professional technician.
Remove the lower dish rack to access the filter system at the bottom of the dishwasher. Twist the cylindrical filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse it under running water to remove debris and reassemble it in reverse order.
Ensure the dishwasher door is fully closed and latched. Check if the child lock is activated and deactivate it if necessary. Confirm that the dishwasher is plugged in and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped.
Regularly clean the filters, check and clean the spray arms, inspect the door seal for any residue or buildup, and run a monthly cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to maintain optimal performance.
Open the dishwasher door and locate the rinse aid dispenser on the inside of the door. Turn the dial to increase or decrease the amount of rinse aid dispensed with each cycle according to your water hardness and preference.
Ensure that the dishwasher is not overloaded and that dishes are correctly positioned. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely and are not blocked. Use the recommended amount of detergent and check that the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C).
To reset the dishwasher, turn off the power by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker for a few minutes. Then, restore power and try to start a new cycle.
Place utensils in the utensil basket with handles facing down for proper washing and to prevent injuries during unloading. Mix spoons, forks, and knives to prevent nesting and overlapping.
Check the door seal for any damage or debris and clean it. Ensure that the dishwasher is level and not tilted. Inspect the hoses and connections for any leaks or loose fittings. If the issue persists, contact a service technician.
