To reset the Hoover DDY 065TA-80, turn off the dishwasher by pressing the power button. Wait for a few seconds, then turn it back on. If the issue persists, unplug the machine for a few minutes before plugging it back in.
First, check the filter and drain hose for any blockages. Clean the filter and ensure the drain hose is not kinked. If the problem continues, inspect the drain pump for any obstructions or damages.
To clean the filters, remove the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Twist and lift out the cylindrical filter, rinse it under running water, and clean any debris. Replace the filter by aligning it and twisting it back in place.
Error code E1 indicates a water intake issue, while E3 signals a heating problem. Check the water supply for any obstructions or pressure issues for E1. For E3, inspect the heating element and thermostat.
Unusual noises might be due to dishes touching each other or the spray arm. Ensure proper loading of dishes and check if the spray arm is obstructed or damaged.
To enhance drying performance, use a rinse aid and select a higher temperature wash setting. Make sure the dishwasher is not overloaded, as this can impede proper drying.
It is recommended to clean the spray arms every 1-3 months. Remove them and rinse under running water to clear any blockages. Use a toothpick to unclog any remaining debris in the spray holes.
Regularly clean the filters and spray arms, check and clean the door seals, and run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to prevent limescale and detergent buildup.
Place large items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they don't block the spray arms. Place plates and bowls between the tines, and cups, glasses, and small items on the top rack.
Check the door seals for any damage or debris. Ensure that the dishwasher is level and not overloaded. Inspect the hoses and connections for any leaks or damages.
