To load paper into the Epson LQ-870, first ensure the printer is turned off. Open the paper guide cover at the rear. Adjust the paper guide and place the paper in the feeder. Close the cover and turn on the printer.
Check if the ink ribbon is correctly installed and not worn out. Ensure the paper is properly aligned in the feeder. Verify printer settings and run a test print to diagnose the issue.
Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the printer cover and gently clean the print head using a soft cloth with a small amount of alcohol. Ensure the print head is dry before closing the cover and turning the printer back on.
Power off the printer. Carefully open the printer cover and remove any jammed paper. Make sure no small pieces are left inside. Reload the paper and close the cover. Turn the printer back on and test.
Ensure the ink ribbon is installed correctly and has ink left. Verify the document you are printing has content. Check the printer settings on your computer to ensure it is not set to print blank pages.
