To perform a print head cleaning, press the 'Ink' button on the printer, select 'Cleaning', and choose the color you wish to clean. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
First, check the ink levels and ensure the print head is clean. Then, verify that the printer drivers are up to date and that the printer is properly connected to your computer.
The Brother DCP-T310 does not support wireless connectivity. You must connect it via USB to your computer for printing.
Open the ink tank cover, remove the cap of the ink tank that needs replacing, and carefully fill it with the new ink bottle. Ensure the cap is securely replaced after refilling.
The printer supports plain paper, inkjet paper, glossy paper, and recycled paper. Ensure the paper type is selected correctly in the printer settings.
Place the document on the scanner glass, open the Brother iPrint&Scan application on your computer, select 'Scan', and follow the instructions to complete the scanning process.
Turn off the printer and gently remove any paper stuck in the paper tray or output slot. Open the rear cover to check for any remaining jammed paper. Ensure all pieces are removed before resuming printing.
Download the latest firmware from the Brother support website. Connect the printer to your computer via USB, run the downloaded firmware file, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Ensure that there is sufficient ink in the tanks and that the print head nozzles are not clogged. Perform a print head cleaning and try printing a test page.
Press the 'Ink' button on the printer, and use the navigation keys to view the remaining ink levels for each color. The levels will be displayed on the printer's LCD screen.
