To set the cooking time, press the 'Menu' button to select a cooking program, then use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the cooking time according to your recipe requirements.
Ensure the pressure has been fully released by turning the steam release valve to the 'venting' position. If it remains stuck, wait for the cooker to cool down and try again. Never force the lid open.
Remove the inner pot and wash it with warm soapy water. It's dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong its non-stick coating. Dry thoroughly before reusing.
Check if the sealing ring is properly installed and not damaged. Ensure the lid is closed correctly and the pressure release valve is set to 'sealing'. Make sure there is enough liquid in the pot.
There are two methods: natural release and quick release. For natural release, wait for the pressure to drop on its own. For quick release, carefully turn the steam release valve to 'venting' using a long utensil to avoid steam burns.
The sealing ring should be replaced every 12-18 months or if you notice any cracks, deformation, or persistent odors. Regular inspection is recommended to ensure safe operation.
The Aztech APC2100 is not recommended for canning as it may not consistently reach the pressures required for safe canning. It's best to use a specialized pressure canner.
Refer to the user manual for specific error code meanings. Common solutions include checking the lid and sealing ring, ensuring adequate liquid, and inspecting for any blockages in the steam release valve.
Ensure adequate liquid is used and stir food before cooking to distribute heat evenly. Consider using the sauté function to pre-cook ingredients, which can help prevent sticking.
Regularly clean the lid, sealing ring, and pressure release valve. Check for any damage or wear. Store the cooker with the lid inverted to prolong the life of the sealing ring.
