First, ensure that the power cable is securely connected to the computer and the power outlet. Check for any visible damage to the power cord. If the device still doesn't turn on, perform a power reset by unplugging the power cord, pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds, then reconnecting the power cord and trying to turn it on again.
To upgrade the RAM, power off the computer and unplug all cables. Remove the back cover by unscrewing the screws and gently lifting it off. Locate the RAM slots and carefully insert the new RAM module(s) into the slots until they click into place. Replace the back cover and screws, then reconnect all cables and power on the computer.
Use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Gently wipe the screen in circular motions to remove fingerprints and dust. Avoid using paper towels, rough fabrics, or chemical cleaners that can damage the screen.
Ensure that the volume is not muted or set too low, and check that the correct audio output device is selected. Update the audio drivers through the Device Manager by locating 'Sound, video and game controllers', right-clicking on your audio device, and selecting 'Update driver'. Restart the computer after updating.
To perform a factory reset, go to 'Settings' > 'Update & Security' > 'Recovery'. Under 'Reset this PC', click 'Get started' and follow the prompts. Choose 'Remove everything' for a complete factory reset, which will erase all personal data, so ensure important files are backed up beforehand.
Ensure that the ventilation holes are not blocked by dust or other obstructions. Use compressed air to clean dust from the vents. Place the computer in a well-ventilated area and consider using a cooling pad. Check for resource-heavy applications running in the background and close them if necessary.
Restart the computer and enter the BIOS setup by pressing F2 during boot. Navigate to the 'Advanced' tab and find the 'Intel Virtualization Technology' option. Enable it, then save changes and exit the BIOS. The system will restart with virtualization enabled.
