To install an operating system, first configure the BIOS to boot from your installation media. Insert the OS installation disc or USB, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the power outlet is functioning. Check the server's power supply and ensure all components are properly seated. If the problem persists, consider checking the server's hardware components for faults.
Download the latest BIOS version from the ASUS support website. Follow the instructions provided in the download package to update the BIOS using a USB drive or via the ASUS Update utility.
Check that all network cables are connected and that the network settings are configured correctly. Verify that the network drivers are up-to-date and consult the server's event logs for any network-related errors.
Use the ASUS Server Management software to perform hardware diagnostics. Alternatively, you can use third-party diagnostic tools compatible with your server's hardware.
Perform regular backups, update software and firmware, check for dust buildup and clean components, and verify that cooling systems are functioning properly. Schedule these tasks monthly or quarterly depending on server use.
Install additional hard drives in available bays or replace existing drives with higher-capacity models. Ensure compatibility with the server's specifications before installation.
Access the RAID configuration utility during boot-up. Select the drives you wish to include in the RAID array and configure the desired RAID level. Save changes and exit to initialize the RAID array.
Access the BIOS setup and select the option to reset to default settings. Alternatively, use ASUS recovery software if available to restore the server to its original state.
Power down the server and unplug all cables. Open the server chassis and remove the faulty power supply by disconnecting its cables and unscrewing it. Install the new power supply, reconnect cables, and secure it within the chassis.
