Ensure the CPU cooler is compatible with your motherboard socket. Remove the protective film from the cooler base, apply thermal paste on the CPU, and securely fasten the cooler using the provided screws. Connect the fan header to the motherboard.
Check for proper airflow by ensuring no obstructions are blocking the vents. Clean dust from fans and heatsinks and verify that the thermal paste is properly applied. Consider upgrading cooling solutions if necessary.
Use the ASUS Fan Xpert software or access the BIOS settings to manually adjust fan curves and optimize cooling performance based on your needs.
Clean the case every 3-6 months, depending on your environment. Use compressed air to remove dust from fans, heatsinks, and other components.
Open the case and locate available drive bays or M.2 slots. Securely mount the new storage device and connect it to the motherboard using the appropriate cables. Ensure the drive is recognized in BIOS/UEFI.
Check the power supply connections, ensure the power switch is on, and verify that the power outlet is working. Examine the motherboard for any error indicators or beeps.
Download the latest BIOS update from the ASUS website. Copy the update file to a USB drive, restart the computer, and enter the BIOS setup. Use the EZ Flash utility to install the new BIOS.
Turn off the system and disconnect the power. Open the case, remove the faulty fan by unscrewing it, and disconnect the fan header. Install the new fan by reversing the process.
Use the built-in cable routing channels and tie-down points to neatly organize cables. Use zip ties or Velcro straps to bundle cables and keep them out of airflow paths.
Verify all RGB connections are secure. Ensure the RGB headers on the motherboard are correctly configured. Use ASUS Aura Sync software to troubleshoot and control lighting settings.
