To set up the ASUS RT-N10U router for the first time, connect the router to your modem using an Ethernet cable. Then, connect your computer to the router via another Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Open a web browser and enter "http://192.168.1.1" in the address bar. Log in using the default credentials (admin/admin) and follow the setup wizard to configure your internet settings.
To reset your ASUS RT-N10U router to factory settings, locate the reset button on the back of the router. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the power LED starts blinking. Release the button and wait for the router to reboot with factory settings.
