If your ASUS RT-AX88U router keeps disconnecting, try restarting both the router and modem. Ensure the firmware is up to date by checking the ASUS support website. Additionally, check for interference from other wireless devices and try changing the Wi-Fi channel in the router settings.
To update the firmware on your ASUS RT-AX88U, log in to the router's web interface by entering "http://router.asus.com" in your browser. Go to the "Administration" section, then select "Firmware Upgrade." Click "Check" to see if a new version is available and follow the prompts to update.

To set up a guest network, log in to the router's web interface, go to "Guest Network" under the "Wireless" section. Enable the guest network, set the network name (SSID), and configure security settings. Save the changes to activate the guest network.
To secure your ASUS RT-AX88U, change the default admin password, and enable WPA3 encryption for Wi-Fi. Regularly update the firmware, disable WPS, and consider setting up a guest network for visitors. Additionally, enable the firewall feature to protect against external threats.
Enable parental controls by accessing the router's web interface and navigating to the "AiProtection" section. Under "Parental Controls," you can manage and set up filters for different devices, schedule internet access times, and block inappropriate content.
To prioritize devices using QoS, log in to the router's interface, go to the "Adaptive QoS" section, and select "QoS." Enable the feature, then use the drag-and-drop interface to prioritize devices or applications according to your needs. Save changes to apply the settings.
