To set up your ASUS RT-ACRH13 router, connect the router to your modem using an Ethernet cable, then connect your computer to the router via another Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Open a web browser and enter "http://router.asus.com" or "192.168.1.1" to access the web interface. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Press and hold the reset button on the back of the router for about 10 seconds until the power LED starts to blink. This will reset the router to its factory default settings.
Access the router’s web interface by entering "http://router.asus.com" or "192.168.1.1" in your web browser. Go to the "Administration" tab, then click on "Firmware Upgrade." Check for the latest firmware version and follow the instructions to update.
Log in to the router’s web interface, navigate to the "Wireless" section, and then under "General" settings, you can change the SSID to your preferred network name.
Ensure that the modem is properly connected to the router and that the modem is online. Restart both the modem and the router. Check if the WAN LED on the router is on. If the issue persists, contact your Internet Service Provider.
Access the router’s web interface, then go to the "AiProtection" tab and select "Parental Controls." You can set up time scheduling and content filters for specific devices connected to your network.
Log in to the router’s web interface, go to the "Wireless" section, and under "General" settings, you can view or change the current Wi-Fi password.
Place the router in a central location away from obstructions and electronic devices that might cause interference. Consider using a Wi-Fi extender or upgrading the router’s firmware for potential performance improvements.
Log in to the router’s web interface, navigate to the "Guest Network" section, and enable the guest network. You can configure the network name and access duration as needed.
Go to the router's web interface, select "VPN" under the "Advanced Settings" menu, and choose the type of VPN you want to set up. Follow the instructions to configure the VPN settings based on your VPN provider’s requirements.
