Open your web browser and enter "http://router.asus.com" or "192.168.1.1" in the address bar. Use the default credentials (admin/admin) to log in and follow the Quick Internet Setup (QIS) wizard to configure your network settings.
First, verify that all cables are securely connected. Restart both your modem and router. Check if the WAN LED on the router is lit. If the issue persists, access the router's web interface and check the WAN settings. Make sure your ISP credentials are correct if using PPPoE.
Log into the router's web interface. Go to Administration > Firmware Upgrade. Click "Check" to see if a new version is available. Download the firmware and click "Upload" to start the update process. Do not power off the router during the update.
Log into the router's web interface. Navigate to Wireless > General. Under the SSID you want to modify, enter a new password in the WPA Pre-Shared Key field. Click "Apply" to save changes.
Locate the Reset button on the back of the router. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the power LED starts to flash. Release the button and wait for the router to reboot to factory settings.
Yes, log into the router's web interface and go to Guest Network. Enable the guest network and configure the SSID and security settings as desired. Click "Apply" to activate the guest network.
Position your router in a central location, away from thick walls and electronic interferences. Update the firmware to the latest version. Use the 5GHz band for a faster connection and fewer interferences. Consider adjusting the channel settings to avoid congestion.
Log into the router's web interface and navigate to AiProtection > Parental Controls. Enable parental controls and set up profiles for each device. Customize the content filters and schedule internet access accordingly.
Ensure that the firmware is up to date. Check for any physical obstructions or interference sources near the router. Change the Wi-Fi channel settings to avoid interference. Restart the router to refresh the connection.
Log into the router's web interface and go to WAN > Virtual Server/Port Forwarding. Add a new rule by entering the service name, port range, and local IP address. Save the settings to apply the changes.
