First, try performing a hard reset by unplugging the power adapter and removing the battery. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then reconnect the battery and power adapter. Try turning on the laptop again. If the problem persists, check the power adapter and battery for faults.
To upgrade the RAM, turn off the laptop and disconnect all cables. Remove the screws on the back panel to access the RAM slots. Carefully replace the existing RAM with the new module, ensuring it's properly seated. Reattach the back panel and restart the laptop.
There could be several reasons for this issue, such as too many startup programs, insufficient RAM, or a fragmented hard drive. Try disabling unnecessary startup programs, increasing RAM, and performing a disk cleanup and defragmentation.
Click on the network icon in the system tray and select the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to. Enter the network password if prompted, and click connect. Ensure the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled if you're having trouble connecting.
To improve battery life, adjust your power settings to a power-saving mode, reduce screen brightness, close unnecessary applications, and disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use. Also, consider calibrating your battery periodically.
Check if the touchpad is disabled by pressing the function key combination (usually Fn + F9) to enable it. Update or reinstall the touchpad drivers via the Device Manager. If the issue persists, try connecting an external mouse to verify functionality.
Turn off the laptop and unplug it. Use a can of compressed air to blow out any debris from between the keys. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen a microfiber cloth with isopropyl alcohol and gently wipe the keys. Avoid using excessive moisture.
Press the Windows key + Pause/Break key to open the System window, which displays basic specifications. For more detailed information, open the Command Prompt and type 'dxdiag' to access the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
Ensure the laptop is placed on a hard, flat surface to allow proper ventilation. Clean the vents with compressed air to remove dust buildup. Consider using a cooling pad and check if the fans are functioning properly. You might need to reapply thermal paste if overheating continues.
