The ASUS M2N-MX SE motherboard supports up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, with two DIMM slots available.
First, check all power connections and ensure RAM and CPU are seated properly. Clear the CMOS by removing the battery for a few minutes. If the issue persists, test with minimal hardware and swap components if possible.
The motherboard supports AMD Socket AM2 processors, including Athlon 64, Athlon 64 X2, Athlon 64 FX, and Sempron processors.
Enter the BIOS setup during boot by pressing 'Del'. Navigate to the 'Advanced' tab, select 'Chipset', and then 'Internal Graphics Configuration'. Here you can enable or disable the integrated graphics.
Ensure that USB ports are enabled in the BIOS under 'Advanced' > 'USB Configuration'. Update the USB drivers from the ASUS website and check for any physical damage to the ports.
Enter the BIOS setup and navigate to the 'Advanced' tab, select 'Onboard Device Configuration', and enable RAID. During boot, press the necessary key to enter the RAID configuration utility and set up your RAID array.
The ASUS M2N-MX SE provides basic overclocking options in the BIOS under 'Advanced' > 'JumperFree Configuration'. However, due to the motherboard's age and design, overclocking potential might be limited.
Ensure that the audio device is enabled in BIOS. Update audio drivers from the ASUS support website. Check speaker connections and settings in the operating system's audio control panel.
To clear the CMOS, turn off the computer and unplug it. Locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard and remove it. Wait for 5-10 minutes, then reinsert the battery and power on the system.
