To update the BIOS, download the latest BIOS version from the ASUS support website. Use the ASUS EZ Flash utility in the BIOS setup to update the BIOS from a USB drive.
Check the power supply connections and ensure that the 24-pin and 4/8-pin power cables are securely attached. Verify that the power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard.
To reset the CMOS, power off the system and unplug the power cord. Locate the CMOS jumper on the motherboard and move the jumper cap from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 for 10 seconds, then move it back.
Ensure that the RAM modules are properly seated in the DIMM slots. Verify that the RAM is compatible with the motherboard specifications. Try testing each module individually.
The ASUS H81I-PLUS-CSM does not have an M.2 slot. You can use a SATA SSD or a PCIe adapter card for M.2 SSDs if needed.
The motherboard supports up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, with two DIMM slots allowing for 8GB per slot.
To enable virtualization, enter the BIOS setup by pressing the 'DEL' key during boot. Navigate to the 'Advanced' tab, select 'CPU Configuration', and enable 'Intel Virtualization Technology'.
Ensure your monitor and cable connections are secure. Check that the graphics card, if present, is properly seated. Verify that the monitor is set to the correct input source.
