To connect an external monitor, use the HDMI or DisplayPort on the back of your ASUS ET2301INTH. Connect the monitor's cable to one of these ports, then select the appropriate input source on your monitor. Adjust display settings in Windows by going to Settings > System > Display.
First, ensure that the power cable is securely connected and the power outlet is working. If the power indicator is off, try a different outlet or power cable. If the issue persists, consider a hardware reset by unplugging the power cable and holding the power button for 10 seconds before plugging it back in and trying again.
To improve performance, consider upgrading the RAM or switching to an SSD if not already equipped. Regularly clean up unnecessary files, manage startup programs, and ensure your system remains malware-free by using antivirus software. Keeping drivers and Windows up to date can also enhance performance.
To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under 'Reset this PC', click 'Get started' and choose either 'Keep my files' or 'Remove everything'. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset. Ensure to back up important data before proceeding.
First, download the latest BIOS update from the ASUS support website. Extract the downloaded file and save it to a USB drive. Restart your computer and enter the BIOS setup by pressing the appropriate key during boot (usually F2 or Del). Use the EZ Flash Utility to update the BIOS from the USB drive. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
Check if the audio is muted or the volume is too low. Ensure that the correct playback device is selected in the sound settings. Update the audio drivers via Device Manager or by downloading the latest drivers from the ASUS support site. If issues persist, try using external speakers or headphones to test the audio jack.
Regularly clean the computer's exterior and vents to prevent dust buildup. Run disk cleanup and defragmentation (if using HDD) every few months. Check for system updates monthly and run antivirus scans weekly. Backup important data regularly and inspect hardware components annually.
Click on the network icon in the system tray and select your Wi-Fi network from the list. Enter the network password when prompted. If the network is not listed, ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled and troubleshoot by restarting the router or checking network settings.
To extend battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and keep the battery charge between 20% and 80%. Use power-saving modes and reduce screen brightness. Unplug the charger once fully charged and avoid letting the battery drain completely before recharging.
Ensure the screen is clean and free from obstructions. Restart the computer to refresh the system. Check for driver updates in Device Manager under 'Human Interface Devices'. If the issue continues, calibrate the touchscreen via Control Panel > Tablet PC Settings.
