To pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, open the Apple Watch app, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
Check the charger and cable for any damage, ensure the back of the watch and the charger are clean, and try using a different outlet or charging cable. Restarting the watch can also help resolve charging issues.
To reset your Apple Watch, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Make sure to unpair your watch from your iPhone to back up your data before resetting.
Use a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth to wipe your Apple Watch. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water. Avoid using soaps, cleaning products, or abrasive materials.
Ensure your Apple Watch is charged and connected to Wi-Fi. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to My Watch > General > Software Update, and follow the instructions to install the latest update.
Ensure that your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone, that both devices are not in Do Not Disturb mode, and that notification settings are correctly configured in the Watch app on your iPhone.
Reduce the brightness, limit background app refresh, disable unnecessary notifications, and activate Power Reserve mode when needed to extend battery life.
Force restart your Apple Watch by pressing and holding both the side button and the Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
The Apple Watch 1st Gen is splash and water resistant but not fully waterproof. It is not recommended to swim with this model.
