To reset the NVRAM, restart your MacBook and immediately press and hold Option, Command, P, and R keys for about 20 seconds. Release the keys when you hear the startup sound or see the Apple logo.
To perform a clean install, create a bootable USB installer, restart your MacBook while holding the Option key, select the USB drive, and follow the on-screen instructions to erase your disk and install macOS.
To prolong battery life, reduce screen brightness, disable unused apps running in the background, use Energy Saver settings, and avoid extreme temperatures.
First, ensure the MacBook is connected to power. Try resetting the SMC by pressing Shift, Control, Option, and the power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. If it still doesn't turn on, contact Apple Support.
Use a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to VGA adapter to connect your MacBook to an external display. Then, go to System Preferences > Displays to adjust the settings.
Regularly update macOS and apps, clean the keyboard and screen, manage storage by removing unnecessary files, and periodically restart your MacBook to clear the memory.
Use the built-in Storage Management tool to review and delete unnecessary files, uninstall unused applications, and move large files to an external storage device or cloud storage.
Check your Wi-Fi settings, restart your router and MacBook, reset the SMC and NVRAM, and ensure macOS is up to date. If the issue persists, try connecting to a different network.
Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > FileVault tab, click the lock icon to unlock settings, and click "Turn On FileVault" to start the encryption process.
Turn off the MacBook and unplug it from power. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner to gently wipe the screen. Avoid using paper towels or abrasive materials.
