To start a drying cycle, load your clothes into the drum, close the door firmly, select the desired cycle and any additional options, then press the 'Start' button.
If your dryer is not heating, check if the gas supply is turned on, ensure that the lint screen is clean, and verify that the exhaust vent is not blocked. Also, inspect the thermal fuse and heating element for continuity.
Ensure that the lint screen is clean and that the exhaust vent is not obstructed. Overloading the dryer can also cause longer drying times, so try reducing the load size.
To clean the lint screen, remove it from the dryer, roll the lint off with your fingers, and rinse it under warm water if necessary. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Regularly clean the lint screen before or after each load, and check the exhaust vent system for blockages every few months. Inspect the drum for any foreign objects and wipe the interior with a damp cloth if needed.
Noises could be due to objects caught in the drum or worn-out drum support rollers. Remove any foreign objects and inspect the rollers for wear or damage, replacing them if necessary.
It is not recommended to dry shoes in the dryer as the heat can damage them and cause noise. Consider air drying or using a specialized shoe drying rack.
Ensure the dryer is plugged in, the door is fully closed, and the 'Start' button is pressed firmly. Check the circuit breaker or fuse box for tripped breakers or blown fuses.
To prevent wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer at the end of the cycle. Use the 'Wrinkle Prevent' option if available, which periodically tumbles clothes to reduce wrinkles.
To save energy, use the moisture sensor drying options, avoid overloading the dryer, and ensure the lint screen and exhaust vent are clean to optimize drying efficiency.
