To perform a factory reset, sign out of your Chromebook, press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R, then click Restart. In the box that appears, select Powerwash > Continue. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
First, ensure the charger is properly connected to both the Chromebook and the power outlet. Try a different outlet or charger if available. If the issue persists, reset the hardware by holding the Refresh button and tapping the Power button.
To enable Linux, open the Settings menu, select Linux (Beta) from the left-hand side, and click Turn On. Follow the prompts to set up the Linux environment.
To update Chrome OS, go to Settings, click on About Chrome OS at the bottom, and then select Check for Updates. Install any available updates.
Turn on Bluetooth by clicking on the time at the bottom-right corner, then on the Bluetooth icon. Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode and select it from the list of available devices.
Clear browser cache and cookies, close unnecessary tabs, and check for system updates. If the issue persists, consider performing a Powerwash to reset the device.
Use Google’s Family Link app to create a supervised account. Once set up, you can manage apps and set screen time limits through the Family Link dashboard.
Press Ctrl + Show Windows key (the key with a rectangle and two lines) to capture the entire screen, or Ctrl + Shift + Show Windows for a partial screenshot.
Connect the monitor to the Chromebook using an HDMI cable. Go to Settings > Device > Displays to adjust display settings and configure the external monitor.
Lower screen brightness, close unused apps, turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not needed, and enable battery saver mode to extend battery life.
