To replace the toner cartridge, open the front cover, remove the used cartridge by pulling it out, and insert the new cartridge until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely seated before closing the cover.
First, check if the toner cartridge is empty or not installed correctly. If the cartridge is fine, ensure that the paper settings match the paper in the tray and that the correct print drivers are installed.
To clear a paper jam, carefully open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge. Gently pull out the jammed paper in the direction of the paper path to avoid tearing. Reinstall the toner and close the cover.
Regularly clean the exterior and interior with a soft, lint-free cloth. Check and clean the paper feed rollers and replace the toner as needed. Ensure the firmware is up-to-date and perform any software updates.
The WorkCentre PE120 connects via USB and does not have built-in network capabilities. Use a USB cable to connect it to a computer that is part of the network, then share the printer through the operating system settings.
Ensure that the paper size settings in the printer driver match the actual paper loaded in the tray. Adjust the paper guides in the tray to fit the paper properly.
To improve print quality, perform a cleaning cycle via the printer's menu, ensure you are using the correct paper type, and check that the toner cartridge is not near depletion.
Check the power cable for any damage and ensure it is securely plugged into both the printer and a working electrical outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary. If the issue persists, contact support.
Place the document face down on the scanner glass, select the scan function from the printer's menu, and choose your desired scan settings. Initiate the scan process and save the scanned document to your preferred location.
Check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Ensure that the toner cartridge is installed correctly and that there are no loose parts. If the noise continues, contact technical support.
