The Vivotek AO-20W Converter is designed to convert analog signals to digital format, enabling integration with IP-based systems.
To connect the AO-20W Converter to a network, use an Ethernet cable to connect the converter's network port to a router or switch. Ensure that the network settings, such as IP address, are configured correctly.
First, check the power supply and ensure it is properly connected. Verify that the power outlet is functional and that the converter's power cable is not damaged.
To perform a factory reset, locate the reset button on the converter. Use a pointed object to press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the device restarts.
Regularly check and clean the converter's connections to prevent dust build-up. Ensure firmware updates are applied as released by the manufacturer for optimal performance and security.
Download the latest firmware from the Vivotek website. Access the converter's web interface, navigate to the firmware update section, and upload the new firmware file. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Connectivity issues can be caused by incorrect network settings, faulty cables, or interference from other devices. Ensure all cables are securely connected and configured correctly.
The AO-20W Converter is typically designed for indoor use. If outdoor use is necessary, ensure it is housed in a weatherproof enclosure to protect it from environmental elements.
If you forget the admin password, perform a factory reset to restore default settings, including the default password. Note that this will erase any custom configurations.
To improve video quality, ensure that the source device provides a high-quality signal. Adjust the converter settings to optimize resolution and bitrate according to your network's capacity.
