To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button. Ensure the door is closed properly to begin the cycle.
Check if the water supply valve is open and not blocked. Ensure that the inlet hose is not kinked and the filter is clean. If the issue persists, inspect the inlet valve for any faults.
To clean the filter, remove the lower dish rack, unscrew the cylindrical filter, and take out the flat filter. Rinse them under running water to remove debris and then reassemble.
Ensure you are using a rinse aid, as it helps in the drying process. Check that the selected program includes a drying phase. Verify that the heating element is functioning correctly.
To reset the dishwasher, turn it off and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait for about 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. Refer to the manual for specific error code meanings.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filters, checking spray arms for blockages, and wiping down the door seals. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to prevent buildup.
Inspect the door gasket for damage and replace if necessary. Check the hose connections for tightness and look for cracks or splits. Ensure the dishwasher is level to prevent water from pooling.
Noises can result from items touching spray arms, so rearrange the dishes. Check for debris in the pump area and ensure the spray arms are securely attached.
Make sure you are not overloading the dishwasher and using the correct amount of detergent. Check that the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C) for effective cleaning.
Place larger items at the sides and back, ensuring nothing blocks the spray arms. Load cups and glasses at an angle to prevent water pooling. Avoid overloading to allow water circulation.
