To pair your Sena SMH10 with a smartphone, turn on the headset and hold the Jog Dial for 5 seconds until you hear "Phone Pairing." Then, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and select the Sena SMH10 from the list of devices.
If the Sena SMH10 is not charging, ensure that you are using the correct charger and cable. Check the charging port for debris or damage. If the problem persists, try resetting the device.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the Jog Dial and the Phone Button for 12 seconds until the LED flashes red rapidly and you hear multiple beeps.
To update the firmware, download the Sena Device Manager from the Sena website. Connect your SMH10 to a computer via USB and follow the instructions in the Device Manager to update.
To connect to another intercom, turn on both devices. On the SMH10, press and hold the Jog Dial for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. Then, follow the instructions on the other intercom to complete the pairing process.
If there is no sound, check the volume settings on both the SMH10 and the connected device. Ensure the speakers are properly connected. If the issue remains, try resetting the SMH10.
To connect a GPS, put the SMH10 in GPS Pairing mode by holding the Jog Dial for 8 seconds until you hear "GPS Pairing," then select SMH10 on your GPS device's Bluetooth settings.
Battery replacement should be done by a professional. However, if you choose to do it yourself, remove the back panel, disconnect the old battery, and carefully install the new one, ensuring proper connection.
To ensure long battery life, fully charge the SMH10 before use, avoid extreme temperatures, and turn off the device when not in use. Regularly update the firmware for optimized performance.
Check the microphone connection to ensure it is securely plugged in. Verify that the microphone is not muted on the connected device. If issues persist, test with another microphone to determine if a replacement is needed.
