To install the Sena PI on your helmet, first attach the adhesive mount to a suitable flat surface on the helmet. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours. Then, slide the Sena PI unit onto the mount until it clicks into place.
To pair your Sena PI with a smartphone, ensure the device is in pairing mode by pressing and holding the multifunction button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue. Then, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and select the Sena PI from the list of available devices.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the multifunction button for 12 seconds until you hear a voice prompt saying “Factory Reset.” Release the button and the device will reset to factory settings.
If the Sena PI is not charging, check the USB cable and adapter for any damage. Try using a different USB cable and charging adapter. Ensure the charging port on the device is clean and free of debris.
To update the firmware, download the Sena Device Manager from the Sena website. Connect the Sena PI to your computer using a USB cable, and follow the on-screen instructions in the Sena Device Manager to update the firmware.
The Sena PI offers up to 6 hours of talk time on a full charge. To maximize battery life, disable features like voice prompts and reduce the volume when not needed. Regularly updating the firmware can also help improve battery efficiency.
