Turn on the Sena Outstar and press the Phone Button for 5 seconds until you hear “Phone pairing”. Then, search for Bluetooth devices on your smartphone and select “Sena Outstar” from the list.
Ensure that the microphone is positioned correctly and not obstructed. Check the Bluetooth connection with your device and make sure you are within range.
To reset the Sena Outstar, press and hold the Phone Button for 12 seconds until you hear the voice prompt “Factory reset”. Press the Phone Button again to confirm.
Use the provided USB cable to connect the Sena Outstar to a power source. The LED will turn red while charging and blue when fully charged.
Download the Sena Device Manager to your computer, connect the Sena Outstar via USB, and follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.

Press the Jog Dial for 3 seconds to enter group intercom pairing mode. Once all devices are paired, tap the Jog Dial to start the group intercom.
The intercom range of the Sena Outstar is up to 800 meters (0.5 miles) in open terrain.
Use a soft cloth and mild soap to clean the exterior. Avoid harsh chemicals. Remove the inner padding and wash it by hand with mild detergent. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
