To descale your Sandstrom SKET510 kettle, fill it with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Bring it to a boil, then let it sit for at least 30 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
Ensure the kettle is properly connected to a power source. Check the power cable and the plug for any visible damage. If the problem persists, consider contacting customer support.
Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they may damage the surface.
It is not recommended to boil water with the lid open as it may result in water spilling over, potentially causing burns or damaging the kettle.
Ensure the kettle is dry and clean before storing it. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent any damage.
Check the filter every month for any build-up of limescale. Clean it regularly and replace it if it shows signs of wear or damage.
Some noise is normal due to the heating of water. However, excessive noise could indicate a build-up of limescale. Descale the kettle to reduce the noise.
The Sandstrom SKET510 kettle is designed for boiling water only. Using it to heat other liquids may damage the kettle or affect its performance.
Check if the kettle's base is on a flat, stable surface and if the lid is securely closed. If the problem persists, it might be a fault with the thermostat. Contact customer support for further assistance.
Only boil the amount of water you need and ensure the kettle is regularly descaled to maintain efficient heating.
