To reset the Sandstrom SID60W14N dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the indicator lights start flashing. Release the button, and the dishwasher will reset.
If your dishwasher is not starting, check if the door is properly closed and latched. Also, ensure that the power supply is connected, and the circuit breaker is not tripped.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack, twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it, and rinse it under running water. Reinstall the filter by placing it back and twisting it clockwise until it locks into place.
Ensure that you are using a rinse aid, as it helps with drying. Also, check that the selected program includes a drying cycle, and avoid overloading the dishwasher, which can obstruct the drying process.
Inspect the door gasket for any damage and ensure it is clean. Check for overloading or improperly placed items that could prevent the door from closing properly. Also, verify that the dishwasher is level.
Ensure that dishes are not blocking the spray arms and that they are loaded correctly. Use the appropriate detergent and cycle for the load. Regularly clean the spray arms and filters to prevent clogs.
Ensure that the spray arms are not hitting any dishes and that they can rotate freely. Check for any loose items in the dishwasher, such as utensils, which might be causing noise.
Descale your dishwasher every 3 to 6 months, depending on the hardness of your water. Use a commercial dishwasher descaler and follow the product instructions.
Place cutlery in the designated basket with handles facing down. Avoid nesting, and mix different types of cutlery to prevent them from sticking together.
Regularly clean the filter and the door seals. Run an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar placed on the top rack to eliminate odors. Ensure dishes are rinsed before loading to avoid food residue buildup.
