To reset the Sandstrom SDW60W15N dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicators flash. This will cancel the current cycle and reset the dishwasher.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the filter and sump area are clean and free of debris. If the problem persists, inspect the pump for any clogs or malfunctions.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack to access the filter at the base of the dishwasher. Twist the filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse it under running water and use a soft brush if necessary. Reinstall the filter by aligning it and twisting clockwise.
Error code E4 indicates an overflow or leak. Check for any water leaks under the dishwasher, ensure the connections are secure, and make sure the dishwasher is level.
It is recommended to clean the spray arms every 3 to 6 months or whenever you notice reduced cleaning performance. Remove the arms and rinse them under water, using a toothpick or a small brush to clear any blocked holes.
Use a high-quality detergent specifically designed for automatic dishwashers. Avoid using hand dishwashing liquids as they can cause excessive sudsing.
Place larger items like pots and pans in the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Place cups and glasses in the top rack, and use the cutlery basket for utensils. Avoid overcrowding to ensure effective cleaning.
Ensure you are using the correct amount of rinse aid and that the water temperature is set correctly. Hard water spots may require a higher dosage of rinse aid. Consider using a water softener if necessary.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the door is securely closed. Ensure the water supply is turned on and inspect the circuit breaker. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
While some non-stick cookware is labeled as dishwasher-safe, it is generally recommended to wash them by hand to preserve the coating. Always refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for specific care instructions.
