To set up the GPS function, turn on the camera, go to the menu, select the GPS settings, and enable GPS. Make sure you are outdoors for a stronger signal acquisition.
Ensure that you are in an open area away from tall buildings or dense trees. Also, confirm that the GPS function is enabled in the camera settings.
Reduce the LCD screen brightness, disable GPS when not needed, and turn off the camera when not in use. Carrying a spare battery is also recommended.
Download the latest firmware from the Ricoh website, copy it to an SD card, insert the card into the camera, and follow the on-screen instructions to update.
Use the Underwater mode, ensure the housing is sealed properly, and adjust white balance as needed for clearer shots.
Check the lens for smudges or dirt, ensure the correct shooting mode is selected, and adjust ISO, aperture, and shutter speed settings accordingly.
Regularly clean the lens and camera body, check seals for waterproof integrity, and store the camera in a dry place when not in use.
Connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable or remove the SD card and use a card reader. Transfer files via the file explorer or image management software.
Check if the battery is charged and properly inserted. If the issue persists, try a different battery or contact support for further assistance.
Avoid exposing the camera to extreme heat or cold. Use protective cases and let the camera acclimate to temperature changes gradually.
