To install the Realflame 1360E, locate a suitable wall space, ensure there is an electrical outlet nearby, and follow the manufacturer's installation guide to securely mount the unit and connect to power.
First, check that the unit is plugged in and the power switch is turned on. Verify the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If the problem persists, consult the troubleshooting section of the manual or contact customer support.
Ensure the fireplace is turned off and unplugged. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the glass front, a standard glass cleaner is recommended.
While the Realflame 1360E is designed for safe operation, it is generally recommended to turn off electric fireplaces when unattended. Use the built-in timer feature for automatic shut-off.
Use the remote control or the control panel on the unit to access heat settings. Adjust the thermostat to your desired temperature. Refer to the manual for specific button functions.
Unusual noises may result from loose components or debris within the unit. Ensure the fireplace is off and cooled before inspecting. Tighten any loose screws and gently clean the interior. If noise persists, consult a technician.
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool. Remove the glass front panel according to the manual instructions. Carefully replace the bulbs with the recommended type. Reassemble the unit before plugging it back in.
The Realflame 1360E should not be used in wet or damp environments like bathrooms due to electrical safety concerns. It is designed for dry, indoor locations only.
Unplug the unit and wait for at least 5 minutes before plugging it back in. This allows the unit to reset. If it still does not respond, check for any obstructions or consult customer support.
Regularly clean the exterior and interior surfaces, check for loose components, and ensure proper operation of the controls. Schedule annual inspections if used frequently to ensure optimal performance.
