To descale your Nespresso VertuoPlus, fill the water tank with 500 ml of water and add the descaling solution. Place a container under the coffee outlet, then press the button and lever simultaneously for three seconds. Follow the instructions in the user manual for the descaling cycle.
Check if the water tank is filled and properly attached. Ensure the capsule is correctly placed and that the machine is plugged in. If the problem persists, try resetting the machine or contact customer support.
Rinse the water tank and empty the capsule container regularly. Use a damp cloth to clean the machine's exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or immersing the machine in water.
Ensure the water tank is correctly seated and not cracked. Check the drip tray and capsule container for overflow. If leaking persists, inspect the seal around the water tank and contact customer service if needed.
The blinking light can indicate various issues such as descaling needed, an empty water tank, or a problem with the capsule. Refer to the user manual for specific light patterns and their meanings.
To reset your VertuoPlus, press and hold the lever down for three seconds while the machine is off. The light will blink three times, indicating that the reset is complete.
Nespresso recommends using only their branded capsules to ensure optimal performance and coffee quality. Using third-party capsules may void the warranty.
Descale your VertuoPlus every three months or after 300 uses, whichever comes first, to maintain optimal performance and extend the machine's lifespan.
Store your VertuoPlus in a dry, cool place. Empty the water tank and capsule holder, and ensure the machine is unplugged when storing for an extended period.
Press and hold the button until the desired amount of coffee is dispensed, then release. The machine will remember this volume for future brews.
