Nespresso Essenza Descaling Guide

To descale your Nespresso Essenza, fill the water tank with a descaling solution and water, place a container under the coffee outlet, and press the buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to start the descaling process. Follow the manual for detailed steps.
Ensure the water tank is filled, the machine is properly plugged in, and the capsule is correctly placed. Perform a reset if necessary, and check for any blockages in the outlet.
Preheat your cup by rinsing it with hot water before brewing. Ensure the machine is fully warmed up by running a water-only cycle before inserting a capsule.
Regularly clean the drip tray, capsule container, and water tank with mild detergent. Run a water-only cycle every few weeks to clear any coffee residue.
A blinking light usually indicates the machine is heating up or needs descaling. Refer to the manual for specific blinking patterns and their meanings.
To reset the machine, press and hold the Lungo button for 5 seconds. This will restore the default settings.
Descale your Essenza every 3 months or after approximately 300 uses to maintain optimal performance.
While some third-party pods are compatible, it's recommended to use Nespresso-branded capsules to ensure the best performance and avoid potential damage.
Check if the water tank is properly seated and not cracked. Ensure the capsule is placed correctly and the machine is not overfilled. If leaking persists, contact customer service.
To program the volume, press and hold the Espresso or Lungo button until the desired volume is reached, then release the button to save the setting.
