To descale the Nespresso Essenza Plus, fill the water tank with a descaling solution and water, turn on the machine, and press both the Espresso and Lungo buttons for 3 seconds to start the descaling mode. Follow the instructions to complete the process.
Check if the water tank is properly positioned and ensure that the drip tray is not full. Inspect the tank for cracks and verify that the capsule is inserted correctly. If the problem persists, contact Nespresso support.
Preheat your cup by running a hot water cycle before brewing. Ensure that the machine is fully heated before use. If the problem continues, descale your machine as mineral buildup can affect temperature.
To reset, turn off the machine, then press and hold the Lungo button for 5 seconds while turning it back on. The LEDs will blink rapidly three times to confirm the reset.
Ensure that there is enough water in the tank and that a capsule is properly inserted. Check for blockages in the machine and clean the nozzle if necessary.
Regularly empty the drip tray and capsule container. Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior and run a water-only cycle to clean the internal pathways. Descale every 3 months for optimal performance.
While some third-party capsules may work, it's recommended to use Nespresso capsules to ensure compatibility and maintain the warranty. Using non-compatible capsules can damage the machine.
Different blinking patterns indicate various statuses: a steady blink means heating up, rapid blinking might indicate an error or the need for descaling. Refer to the user manual for specific codes.
To adjust the volume, insert a capsule, press and hold the Espresso or Lungo button, release it when your desired coffee volume is reached. The machine will remember this setting for future brews.
Unusual noises can result from blockages or air in the system. Perform a cleaning cycle and ensure the water tank is properly positioned. If noises persist, consult Nespresso support for assistance.
