To descale your Nespresso Gran Lattissima, fill the water tank with 500 ml of water and a descaling solution. Press the descaling button and follow the on-screen instructions. Ensure you place a container under the coffee outlet to catch the solution.
Check if the milk container is properly inserted and clean. Ensure the milk you are using is fresh and cold. Also, verify that the frothing components are not blocked and are assembled correctly.
Remove the milk container and disassemble it. Rinse all parts with warm water and a mild detergent. Use the machine's clean function regularly to maintain hygiene and performance.
Check if the water tank is seated correctly and not cracked. Inspect the drip tray and capsule container to ensure they are in place. If the issue persists, contact Nespresso support.
To reset your machine, turn it off and press the Lungo button for 5 seconds. This will restore the machine to its default settings.
Whole milk or semi-skimmed milk are recommended for the best froth. Non-dairy alternatives like almond or oat milk can work, but results may vary.
Preheat your cup with hot water before brewing. Ensure the machine is fully heated before use. If the issue continues, contact customer support for a potential service.
Descale your machine every three months or after 300 uses to maintain optimal performance and coffee quality.
While some third-party capsules may work, Nespresso recommends using their branded capsules for the best performance and to avoid potential damage to the machine.
Ensure the machine is plugged into a working outlet. Check the power cord for any damage. If the machine still does not turn on, contact Nespresso customer support.
