To descale your Nespresso Pixie, fill the water tank with a descaling solution and water as per the descaling kit instructions. Place a container under the coffee outlet, press both the Espresso and Lungo buttons for 3 seconds to start the descaling mode, and then press the Lungo button to start the process. Follow the instructions until the process is complete.
Ensure that the water tank is filled and properly positioned. Check if the capsule is inserted correctly and the lever is closed firmly. If the machine still doesn't brew, try resetting it by unplugging for a few minutes.
To clean your Nespresso Pixie, remove the drip tray and capsule container, and wash them with warm soapy water. Clean the coffee outlet with a damp cloth and regularly run water through the machine without a capsule to keep it clean.
If your Nespresso Pixie is leaking, check if the water tank is properly seated and not cracked. Inspect the drip tray and capsule container for overflow or misplacement. Ensure all components are correctly assembled.
To reset your Nespresso Pixie to factory settings, turn off the machine. Press and hold the Lungo button for 5 seconds while turning the machine back on. The LEDs will blink to indicate the reset is complete.
To insert a capsule correctly in the Nespresso Pixie, lift the lever to open the capsule compartment, place the capsule inside, and lower the lever completely to ensure it's securely closed before brewing.
To adjust the coffee volume, press and hold the Espresso or Lungo button until your desired amount of coffee is dispensed. The machine will remember this setting for future brews.
If your Nespresso Pixie is not heating up, ensure the machine is plugged in and switched on. Check for any error lights. If the problem persists, contact Nespresso customer service for further assistance.
It is recommended to descale your Nespresso Pixie every 3 months or after approximately 300 uses to maintain optimal performance and coffee taste.
While Nespresso Pixie is designed to work with Nespresso capsules, some compatible off-brand capsules may also work. However, using non-Nespresso capsules might affect the machine's performance or damage it.
