Nespresso Inissia Descaling Guide

To descale your Nespresso Inissia, fill the water tank with one unit of Nespresso descaling solution and 0.5 liters of water. Place a container under the coffee outlet, turn the machine on, and enter descaling mode by pressing both the Espresso and Lungo buttons for 3 seconds. Press the Lungo button to start descaling. Rinse the water tank and machine thoroughly afterward.
If coffee is not dispensing, ensure that there is water in the tank and the capsule is inserted correctly. Check for any blockages in the coffee outlet and try running the machine without a capsule to clean it. If the issue persists, descale the machine.
To adjust the cup size, press and hold the Espresso or Lungo button according to your preference. Release the button when your desired volume is reached. The machine will memorize this volume for future use.
Rapid blinking usually indicates that the machine is heating up or needs descaling. If the machine continues to blink rapidly after heating, perform a descaling cycle.
Clean your Nespresso Inissia regularly by emptying the drip tray and used capsule container after each use. Wipe down the machine with a damp cloth weekly and descale it every three months or after 300 uses.
If your machine is leaking, check the water tank for proper placement and ensure there are no cracks or damages. Inspect the drip tray and capsule container for overflow. If the leak persists, contact Nespresso support.
While it is possible to use third-party capsules in your Inissia, Nespresso recommends using their capsules for optimal performance and to avoid potential damage to the machine.
To reset your Inissia to factory settings, turn off the machine. Hold down the Lungo button while turning the machine back on. Keep holding the Lungo button for 5 seconds until the lights blink three times.
When storing the Inissia, empty the water tank, remove any capsules, and clean the machine. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and ensure all components are dry to prevent mold.
If your coffee is not hot enough, preheat your cup with hot water before brewing. Ensure the machine has fully heated up before brewing. If the problem persists, descale the machine to remove any mineral build-up affecting temperature.
