To descale the machine, fill the water tank with a descaling solution and water as per the manufacturer's instructions. Place a container under the coffee outlet. Press the descaling button and follow the prompts on the machine's display to complete the process.
Ensure that the milk container is properly attached and filled. Clean the frother nozzle and check for any blockages. If the problem persists, run a cleaning cycle with the appropriate cleaning solution to remove any milk residue.
To adjust the coffee volume, insert a capsule and press and hold the desired coffee button until you reach the desired amount of coffee. Release the button to save the setting for future use.
Check if the water tank is correctly positioned and ensure there are no cracks in it. Inspect the drip tray and capsule container for proper placement. It may also be necessary to replace the machine's seals if they are worn.
A blinking light usually indicates that the machine needs attention, such as descaling or emptying the capsule container. Refer to the user manual to identify the specific issue related to the blinking pattern.
Remove the milk container and rinse it thoroughly. Disassemble the milk frother nozzle and wash all components with warm water. Use a soft brush to remove any milk residue. Reassemble the parts once they are completely dry.
The Nespresso DeLonghi Lattissima Premium is designed for use with Nespresso capsules. Using non-Nespresso capsules may affect performance and could potentially void the warranty.
To reset the machine, turn it off and press and hold the 'Lungo' button for 5 seconds while turning it on. Release the button when the LEDs blink three times to confirm the reset.
Ensure that the machine is plugged in and that the outlet is working. Check the power cord for any damage. If the machine still does not turn on, contact Nespresso customer support for further assistance.
Regular maintenance includes descaling every 3 months or after 300 capsules, cleaning the milk frother weekly, and wiping down the machine's exterior after each use for optimal performance and longevity.
