To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > General > Backup & reset > Factory data reset. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
First, check the charging cable and power adapter for any damage. Try using a different power outlet or charger. If the issue persists, clean the charging port and consider replacing the battery if it's old.
