To set up 5G on your LG Velvet, go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile networks. Ensure that your carrier supports 5G and that your SIM card is 5G-enabled. Then, enable 5G in the network settings.
First, check the charging cable and adapter for any damage. Try using a different charger or outlet. If the problem persists, clean the charging port with a soft brush and check for debris.
Reduce screen brightness, limit background apps, and use battery saver mode. Also, consider disabling 5G when not needed and turn off location services to extend battery life.
To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > System > Restart & reset > Factory data reset. Confirm your choice and wait for the device to reset. Ensure you back up important data before proceeding.
To update the software, go to Settings > System > Update center > Software update. Check for updates and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest software.
Restart your phone and router. Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled and that you have the correct password. Forget the network and reconnect, or reset network settings if the issue persists.
Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously until a screenshot is captured. You can also use the Capture+ feature from the notification panel.
Remove any case and place the phone in a cool environment. Stop any demanding apps or games. If overheating continues, restart the phone and ensure software is up to date.
Use LG Mobile Switch to transfer data. Install the app on both phones, connect them via Wi-Fi or cable, and follow the on-screen instructions to transfer your data.
To enable Dark Mode, go to Settings > Display > Night mode. Turn on Night mode to switch to a darker theme, which can also help save battery life.
