To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > System > Restart & reset > Factory data reset. Confirm by tapping 'Reset Phone' and then 'Delete all' to restore the device to its original settings.
First, ensure the phone is charged by connecting it to a charger. If it still doesn't turn on, try performing a soft reset by holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds.
To take a screenshot, press and hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously until you see the screen flash. The screenshot will be saved in the Gallery app.
To improve battery life, reduce screen brightness, limit background app activity, disable unnecessary notifications, and consider using battery saver mode under Settings > Battery.
To update the software, go to Settings > System > Update center > Software Update. Tap 'Check for updates' and follow the on-screen instructions if an update is available.
Check that Airplane Mode is off and reset network settings by going to Settings > System > Restart & reset > Network settings reset. Restart your device after the reset.
Use a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner. Avoid applying liquids directly to the screen and do not use paper towels or abrasive materials.
Go to Settings > System > About phone, and tap 'Build number' seven times. Enter your PIN if prompted, and Developer Options will appear in the System menu.
Clear the app cache by going to Settings > Apps & notifications > App info, selecting the app, and tapping 'Storage & cache' > 'Clear cache'. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the app.
Go to Settings > Lock screen & security > Fingerprints. Follow the prompts to scan your fingerprint, and set up a backup PIN or pattern if prompted.
